Working with select industry leaders, Microtrace is able to deliver Microtaggant® Identification Particles incorporated in many types of compounded resins for the purpose of authenticating genuine injection molded, extruded and rotationally molded products.
Microtrace Compounded Plastic Resins are created with our Microtaggant Identification Particles embedded throughout, which act as your virtual fingerprint. The resin is supplied in master batch quantities for letdown at predetermined rates or as a fully compounded resin for immediate processing.

With Microtaggants, whether one or hundreds of code sequences are needed, each one is certified and registered on our central database. No code is ever produced again for any other entity, ensuring positive identification and authentication capabilities. Laser Marking Compounds
Microtrace is also able to deliver laser-markable compounded plastic resins. With these specialized compounds, a color change occurs where the laser images the finished part. Laser marks can be produced in white, black, yellow, red, blue, green, orange and violet. For the highest level of security, the Microtaggant Identification Particles can also be compounded in these resins and delivered in a single master batch.
